Everything needs to be shiny clean No matter what method you use the repair is no better than the surface it is applied to. There is nothing wrong with body putty when used properly

Long time since I heard of Bills, took a V12 Auburn out of there piece by piece. Had to cut the rivets out of the frame and disassemble everything to get it out. oh, to be young again.

I only buy Ridgid, battery goes bad take it to Home Depot they give you a new one, tool goes bad they fix it, no cost

In defense, for the first time in over 50 years I had no parts in my space, my dad took me there the first time in 1956. I think I have a pretty good reason, 77 years old, open heart not long ago, was employed to get two pre 15 cars running for the auction, all my parts are pre 15 as well. I spent some time visiting in the flea market. And no I did not have a devise to ride on, I walked. Put simply I didn't have the energy to load my truck with parts that 99% of the people posting here and attending would even know what they were. Sorry to sound like a butt hole.

David yes the windshield is also different and is part of the California Top. There are also small upholstered panels on top of the doors with slides for the the glass panels, all glass except the windshield is beveled. AJ I completely agree, but that doesn't mean I like it.

I'm glad you guys like the top. It is something I have never liked very much and one of the reasons I'm wanting to sell it. The top is made by Morgan and was very expensive in 1917, you could have bought a Ford for what the top cost. Part of me wanted to remove it and reinstall a touring top and windshield, the other part said don't even consider it. If it had the touring configuration I would not be selling.

This is a pre funeral sale, I've decided not to be buried in this car so I wish to dispose of it before. Will consider all offers or a model t in part trade for my daughter Pierce 38 1917 with California Top for sale. pretty much unmolested, some work done, pictures pretty much tell the story. Car is running but needs tuning, fuel system replaced, fuel tank cleaned and sealed, mostly new wiring, radiator cleaned and tested, carburetor rebuilt, new clutch. $45,000 located in south central Pennsylvania about 100 miles west of Hershey. 717-485-4344 leave a message please.

There is a difference in the bell housing also. Yes several Auburns have AF engines, both built by lycoming as I recall

I don't recommend Author Gould, they have changed hands. Sent my Pierce pump to them for a new shaft. Spent nearly $500, part of it shipping, the shaft was not right and they would not stand behind there work. PM me if you have questions

What would it cost to get this Model T to south central Pennsylvania.

When I replaced them on my 24 Lincoln I also used new brass nuts.

I still do project cars.
