  1. Anyone interested in a Metz engine block? The owner says he can bring it to the Bakersfield, CA pre-War flea market. Price is $100. Here are some good photos: http://tinyurl.com/cjdxw47 Phil Jamison
  2. Up for sale is one of the most unusual pre-1910 automobile auto pieces I have ever seen! I purchased this at Hershey years ago. No known history. I was going to put it as the windshield on a 1904 Brennan racer racing car I was going to build. However that project is sold,so I have decided to sell the windshield. This is a sinister looking port hole piece, that looks like it should be on the villains car in the movies "The Great Race" or "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"! Incredible home made piece. OLD burgundy paint and glass, held in with clips on the back side. The top half pivots open and closes, but the 2 brass bolts are missing on either side, that bolt the top half to the brass windshield frame. The overall length of the brass trim on either side of the windshield is 29 inches.Overall width of the assembly is 34 inches. The wood windshield is 13 inches high. Diameter of the 2 glass portholes is 10 inches each. This would be AMAZING on your 1900,1901,1902,1903,1904,1905,<wbr>1906,1907,1908,1909,1910 vintage old antique racecar.NO ONE else will have a early race car that looks like this! Price is $795.00. USA shipping is $50. Overseas shipping for costs. email gnalbrightgmail.com 352 843 1624 EST 10-4 weekdays<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

  5. Up for sale is a matched pair of super rare Riley side draft racing carbs. Serial # 73 and #74! The $1,895.00 price is for BOTH carburetors .These were acquired from a old vintage racer years ago. Use on model A,B, and V8 Fords. Both are complete and look as close to perfect as can be. I have opened the floats and both are complete. The inside opening facing the intake manifold is 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The 4 bolt pattern is 1 5/8 inches both ways, from center of hole to center of hole. On the outer side of the carb, the throat opening outside diameter is 1 15/16 inches. These were hand built in small quantities in George Rileys shop, only in part of the 1930s and 1940s. I have only seen one other single of these ever in my travels. I will not separate these. However, I do have a third Riley carb in exactly the same size and condition as these 2. The bowl is placed at a slightly different angle/configuration than these 2. But if you need 3 carbs for your vehicle, this 3rd one will work perfect. However due to the bowl placement, it will have to be placed on one of the ends, rather than in the middle. The buyer will have the option to buy this 3rd carb at half of the price he paid for the pair. Very little advertising was done for these carbs when made. Below is what Charlie Yapp, Editor of Secrets Of Speed Magazine, wrote me concerning the carbs: "Hi George: They were made by George Riley (one man shop) from about 1936 to 1947 (+ -). They were designed for racing and do not have an idle circuit. He made them to replace Winfields and were simpler to use. All were side draft. Two sizes: 2" and 1-1/2". Each were highly modifiable and I believe most parts (jets) were from Stromberg 97s. The floats were custom made and very hard to find today. All this info is in the book George Riley Racing Scrapbook by Dan Landola that is occasionally for sale on ebay new by a book seller. Not up today . I just checked. Patterns exist. Don't have any ads. Charlie". Buyer pays $25.00 for USA shipment. Actual shipping costs overseas. You will probably NEVER get this opportunity again, if you collect old antique vintage sprint car midget racer racing race, Hillegass, Dreyer, Harry A Miller Duesenberg Indy Indianapolis 500 stuff. We accept all forms of payment.Check preferred. George Albright, Ocala, Fla. gnalbright@gmail.com 3 5 2 8 4 3 1 6 2 4

  9. Dear Friends: Please see Ebay auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1920-<wbr>Model-T-Ford-Speedster-<wbr>Aftermarket-Body-Olds-3-Port-<wbr>Head-Brass-/261188064452 I have decided to put up my #1 project for sale. More photos available, just ask. I pieced together an AMAZING Model T speedster project, with authentic early 1920s parts. The body is the ONLY ONE KNOWN , circa 1923, Equipto Line body, made by the Aurora Equipment Co. of Aurora Illinois. This company first built bodies for Henry Ford around 1910, then cycle car attachments for motorcycles. In the teens and 1920s they built racey bodies for Ford Model Ts. Around 1930 they switched to building metal shelving and cabinets and are still in business. Please click on this link for more history, which I helped Coachbuilt write: http://www.coachbuilt.com/bui/<wbr>d/dunham_thomas/dunham_thomas.<wbr>htm The body is all original and super solid and complete, no rust ever, minus top irons, which I would not use any way. These racy lines don't need a top! Seats are out of a circa 1920 ice cream parlor, and fit perfectly. Cast iron backs and maple bottoms. Just needs a low racy windshield glass to mount on those amazing tilted windshield posts! Head is a 1921-23 Olds 3 port head, model 43A, which has been magnafluxed and tanked. Looks superb! Includes rocker arms, valves, springs, etc. These heads in the late 1920s and 1930s and on the salt flats on the 1940s were used as an overhead valve setup on Model T Ford blocks. Known as a poor mans Rajo! MANY records for 3 decades were set with these. Please see this Jern Thunderbolt website - http://www.jernthunderbolt.<wbr>com/ - for all the parts needed for this conversion to mount this head on a Model T block. My plan was to mount these items on a Model T wire wheeled chassis, with a Miller or Winfield carb, and other speed equipment. This killer racer body with a very low cut windshield will be one of the most beautiful around. Plus you will have the only one! Lots of photos available of all items, just ask. Will also crate and ship for costs, and/or help arrange transport. We will sell the body with its seats separately for $5,500 and/or the Olds 3 port head separately for $1,400. If you collect Duesenberg, Dreyer, Hillegass, race, racer, racing, vintage, antique, old, midget, sprint, Indy, high compression head stuff, this project is for you! Reserve is $6,900. 14. Up for sale for a friend is an extremely rare piece of advertising and neon sign history. This is an "new" never used, NOS Insco "Lit Writer" that allowed a business to interchange pre manufactured neon letters to say whatever the company wished to display and/or advertise. This company was only in business from the 1956 to 1959 period in Piqua, Ohio. (See following link to Piqua Ohio Public Library, which houses the company's documents:) http://www1.youseemore.com/piqua/contentpages.asp?loc=847 I acquired this from a friend whose father had a sign company near Lake Erie, in Pa., up to the 1970s. It is in as new SUPERB original condition! Box is 42 inches long, 5 inches high, and 4 inches wide. Weighs 25 lbs. I was able to get with another sign collector who had bought several boxes of also new NOS letters for these signs, from a closed sign company in Michigan. Thus you are getting a BRAND NEW 1956-59 sign and BRAND NEW 1956-59 neon letters, numbers and spacers! I put the DUESENBERG- spacer, letters in the sign yesterday and turned it on, for the first time in the sign and both worked perfectly! You will probably NEVER get a chance like this again. It will be shipped to you in its original cardboard shipping box! Any company, business and or car or boat or motorcycle dealership could have bought these in the 1950s and 1960s and installed letters to say whatever you wish it to say. GREAT to display as a 1930s 1940s 1950s and or 1960s car dealership sign with your favorite marquee or name of your business. You can mix and match the 11 letters and numbers with spacers, so you can put in 2 words, or a 10 letter and number sign and one spacer that doesn't light up,a 9 letter or number sign with 2 spacers that don't light up, etc. Just use your imagination! Get out a pad of paper and start writing out names. For example 63 spacer CORVETTE is 11 letters. ROAD spacer RUNNER is 11 spaces. And on and on! Price is only $800 for the board and the 11 letters. What a GREAT gift for your car guy! Buyer gets his or her choice of 11 letters, numbers, or non light up spacers. Shipping is an additional $60.00. The shipping is for 2 boxes, as I will be shipping the sign from here in Ocala, Fla. and the letters/numbers/spacers will come from near Boston Mass. Feel free to ask questions. DON'T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY! These are as rare as hens teeth, let alone brand new! George Albright gnalbright@gmail.com cell 352 843 1624 10-4 weekdays EST.

All for reduced price of only $7,900 for all! See ebay auction below. Speedster body, Olds head, and Miller V shaped radiator also for sale separately George albright,Fla. gnalbright@gmail.com cell 352 843 1624 from 10-4 weekdays EST. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Model-<wbr>T-Ford-1920-Speedster-<wbr>Aftermarket-Body-Olds-3-Port-<wbr>Head-Miller-V-Radiator-/<wbr>261178632728?pt=Vintage_Car_<wbr>Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=<wbr>item3ccf75aa18&vxp=mtr Hi Guys.I pieced together an AMAZING Model T speedster project, with authentic early 1920s parts. The body is the only one known, circa 1923,Equipto Line body, made by the Aurora Equipment Co. of Aurora Illinois. This company first built bodies for Henry Ford around 1910,then cycle car attachments for motorcycles. In the teens and 1920s they built racey bodies for Ford Model Ts. Around 1930 they switched to building metal shelving and cabinets and are still in business. Please click on this link for more history, which I helped Coachbuilt write: Thomas Dunham Co., Equipto, Model T Speedster, Thomas M. Dunham, John C. Dunham, Dunham Side Car, Aurora Equipment Co., Equipto div. of Aurora Equipment Company - CoachBuilt.com The body is all original and super solid and complete,no rust ever, minus top irons, which I would not use any way. These racey lines don't need a top! Seats are out of a circa 1920 ice cream parlor, and fit perfectly. Cast iron backs and maple bottoms. Head is a 1921-23 Olds 3 port head, which has been magnafluxed and tanked. Please see this Jern Thunderbolt website for all the parts needed for this conversion: index Finally enclosed is a superb and unique circa 1920 all brass V radiator. Looks almost identical to a Miller Indy Sprint car one. All original but looks superb all over. No old leaks evident. My plan was to mount these three items on a Model T wire wheeled chassis, with a Miller or Winfield carb, and other speed equipment. This V radiator with this killer racer body with a very low cut windshield will be one of the most beautiful around. Plus you will have the only one! Lots of photos avail. of all three items, just ask. Will deliver to Hershey for free, but must be fully paid for now. Will also crate and ship for costs,and/or help arrange transport. Price for all pictured is $9,800. Will not part out,no trades. George Albright,Ocala,Fla. cell 352 843 1624 weekdays 10 AM to 4 PM EST. Email gnalbright@gmail.com
