  4. Junk will always be junk. Look at the quality of 1980s cars even in like new condition. Like new junk.
  5. Please please start a new thread on your mystery car as well!! I noticed on the car being discussed it has a jack shaft and pulleys on it. The 1895-1900 Benz Velo cars and copies has a similar transmission setup with a horizontal engine rather than a vertical like a De Dedion Bouton engine or knockoff. Please send photos of your car to Austin Parkinson in the UK for his opinion. He reproduces De Dion parts in the UK. Just google him for his email. George Albright,Florida. Email gnalbright@gmail.com
  6. Please join the veteran car club of Great Britain and ask them to run an article on it looking for info from our VCCGB members! Sincerely George Albright,Ocala Florida

  10. It probably is an AE series motor marine version. 420 CI. I owned two of them with dual plug heads in American Lagrange fire trucks. Nothing repeat nothing interchanges with a Duesenberg engine tho same CI. I restored a Duesenberg from scratch and bought the motors to compare to a Duesenberg. Just a large slow moving flathead from lycoming. Made in late 1930s. George Albright Ocala fla. ps those are correct gaskets for this motor
  11. I rode and completed in the run in 1991 1993 and 1995.super cool event. Yes a lot of old cars and modern traffic occasionally mix. Sorry for the family. George Albright,Ocala Fla
  12. It is an 06 or 07. Those years when friction drive models made. Missing timer cover, an aluminum cover. Easy to replicate. No loose parts available. All dried up years ago. I have owned 5 buckboards, none now. George Albright,Florida. Gnalbright@gmail.com
