  3. 1973 Plymouth Satellite factory a/c, radio, power steering, 318 engine body good, runs good has a recent paint job which looks great from 10 feet interior need a little work but it's totally fine for a daily driver needs some little things fixed. some bulbs (indicator, brake light), radio doesn't work, a/c doesn't blow cold (but heater works fine), and needs a new starter asking $1500 obo located 50 miles from Birmingham, AL, zip 35474, 10 miles from I20/I59

  13. 1958 Mercury complete cluster with all gauges and speedo does not turn, needs a new spinning magnet opened it up and it seems fairly ok, except the plastic lens with the numbers on it has a corner missing, crack extends to 110 mph number. chrome looks pretty good $50 plus shipping
  14. the car will probably weigh more like 3000-4000 pounds, it won't have a full body. and I hope that before it's ready I'll be able to find a Cadillac brake booster, like they put on the V12 and V16 cars. I think that in 1930 Cadillac already agreed with you that it was quite a ride to stop their cars!
  15. re. bhigdog: I've aluminum pistons that had been sitting for awhile, and they were definitely damaged. but what my main worry was: the term "aluminum alloy". sometimes alloys actually do deteriorate through time, if the alloy is not of proper composition. or like brass, that can be really hard or really soft depending on the mixture. but I'll just go ahead and trust the old Cadillac engineers on this. re. a by the sea: the shoes still have the lining on them, and the lining is only slightly worn, probably about 10% I'd say.
