  1. Well, I pretty much know anything is possible but I was curious if it would be a bolt on type deal or if I would have to make a lot of modifications to get it to work. The front fenders look like they are the same, so replacing the grille shell and grille might be easy.
  2. The grille looks different yes. But the fenders look the same so I'm wondering if you took the grille shell and grille itself out could you replace with the dodge shell and grille.
  3. Is it possible to remove the grill shell on the Desoto and replace with a Dodge or plymouth grill shell and grill? Is this a direct replacement or would the Desoto fenders make it impossible?
  4. I'm looking for the following parts: 1935 Desoto Airstream grille pieces 1935 Desoto Airstream glove box door 1935 Desoto Airstream door/body moldings 1935 Desoto Airstream hood ornament
  5. Did you put it in? Hows the fit, etc? Thanks.
  6. Steve, where did you purchase yours from?
  7. I have a 35 desoto airstream that is in dire need of a new gas tank. Does anyone know where I can get one? It doesn't look like Andy Bernbaum sells them. Are they interchangeable with dodge's?
  8. So the frame is a lot different than a 35 Dodge? They look SO similiar. Would a 2 door 35 Desoto airstream frame interchange with a 4 door?
  9. I have a 35 Desoto 4 door Airstream. The frame on it is currently messed up. One side sits higher then the other, and a bunch of other problems. Can anyone tell me what frames interchange? Could I get a 35 Plymouth, Dodge, or Chrysler? Would it have to be from a 4 door model? etc. What are my options here.

  11. I have a 35 mopar and was wondering about the windshield. I need a filler strip that goes between the glass itself, and the chrome windshield frame. Steele Rubber has two different kinds and two different thicknesses. I'm not sure which to get or which thickness. I have the windshield frame but no weatherstripping inside to figure out what thickness. Does anyone know? Also how much of it do you think I would need? I can measure the frame for length too but figured I'd ask here. First strip: Filler strip, sash channel. For all applications fitting glass to sash channel, not requiring weatherlip type of filler. Check your old filler strip to find thickness needed. This is the highest quality linen back, rubber cork composition for a professional job on swingout windshields, door vent windows and convertible side windows having metal frames, as well as many side or door windows on closed bodies. Please specify thickness as this item is NOT RETURNABLE. 70-1114-57...1/32" thick..$ 2.40/ft. 70-1115-57...1/16" thick..$ 2.80/ft. Second strip: Filler strip, sash channel. Similar in useage to our 70-1114-57 and 70-1115-57 type filler, but constructed of a rubber-like polymer designed for setting glass in a metal sash channel. This item is not returnable except for quality assurance issues. Order only by the foot. 70-2169-57...1/32" thick..$ 2.50/ft. 70-2170-57...1/16" thick..$ 2.60/ft.
