  1. Thank you so much. None of the manuals I have show the hideaway headlights in detail. The geocites link is very helpful and useful thanks.
  2. The headlights on my 1966 Dodge Charger are not opening, they are turning on but just will not flip open. I have checked and rechecked everything and noting seems to be out of place or broken. Does anyone have ideas? Everything works on the inside expect the lights just not opening.
  3. I am selling my 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback. It is not a numbers matching car! it currently has a 360 motor and 727 torqueflite transmission, disc brake conversion in the front still has drums in the rear needs tires all 4 replaced and a starter motor is needed, needs a tune up as well. She is complete and have a few spare parts for it that I will give the buyer. It would make a great drag car or easy to restore as is. I will post pictures later. The car is in Geneva Il. If interested please call Jeff 708-606-2297 $6,500 Serious Inquiries only please
  4. Thank you all so much for the responses I do really appreciate them. I have come to a very hard and very sad decision as I am going to be selling the 68 Barracuda
  5. I am in Geneva Il but would like to keep the car within 15 miles.
  6. I am going to be losing storage for one of my cars and need somewhere to store it. I am looking for long term storage in Northern Illinois any help would be greatly appreciated.

  8. I am trying to find out how many 1960 Plymouth Belvedere where made with a 361 and Sonoramic Induction I have looked this up in all the books I own but can't find anything with exact numbers made
  9. In case anyone cares the car is fixable. Since I can't find anyone that works on just old classic mopars, It's going to my local dodge dealer. They can fix everything but the interoir lights. I guess if I ever want to restore a car though I just have to sell them since their is no one that restores mopars. No wonder they are so hard to come by noone fixes them.
  10. The car has always been insured and in a heated and air cooled garage. The insurance guy looked at it and said that is fixable but I need to find an excellent restoration shop, that can fix it.
  11. I did call my insurance, but I still need to find a shop that can fix it. The brakes are failed in the applied position but the tow guy said "I'm in a hurry and it will be fine." So he hooked up the winch and car did not want to go foward. He just kept pulling until we herd a loud clunk and the hooks tore the frame rails. Then he hooked it up differently but the damage was already done. So now I'm stuck trying to find a shop that can fix it.
  12. I had one of my 66 Dodge Chargers towed recenlty due to brake failure. However when the tow guy went to hook up the car he used the wrong hooks, and tore a 3 or 4" hole in the front frame on both sides does anyone know a frame or restoration shop in Illinois that can fix it correctly?
  13. I just had my 1966 Dodge charger towed because the brakes quit. When the tow guy showed up he used the wrong hooks and tore a 4" hole in the front frame on both sides. Does anyone know of a frame shop or restoration shop in Illinois that can fix it correctly?
