  8. Hi Bud, the only numbers I can find are a P21502 and 1-3/16 This carb is for a 60, 80 and a 90 '36 Buick. It has the goose neck intake. Mike

  11. Thanks for the reply David. It sounds a little scary. I'll try it that way and hope for no fires.
  12. Looking in my shop manual for float adjustment on a Stromberg EE22 it states that in order to set the float at 5/8" from the top of the float bowl the car needs to be running with the top of the carburetor off. Has anyone heard of this or done it? Also it doesn't look like 5/8" is correct.
  13. Merry Christmas to you Grant, from Arkansas. '36 Buick Century

  16. I want to thank you all for your help. Is there a photo somewhere showing this bulb out of the engine and where do I get it repaired? It was working fine until I had some work done under the dash.
  17. Are these difficult to remove? I looked at the connection on the motor and am not sure how it's connected to the block. If the square nut is threaded or pressed in. Don't want to damage anything.
  18. What would make a heat gauge stop working? Has anyone had this happen?
  19. Is there such a place that keeps track of how many Buicks of each year are still out there registered somewhere? Preferably the pre war Buicks.
  20. I have a '36 Century that had that problem. The previous owner had a shop weld a nut on the hinge to prevent it from creeping. Where he welded it I can't tell from looking at the hinge but it worked. Hope that may help.
  21. I'm looking for a working headlight switch for a '36 Buick Century if anyone may have one for sale.
  22. I had the dash bulbs and wiper motor replaced and now I've noticed that my amp meter, temp guage and clock no longer work. There is spark at the clock. If these are shorted out can they be repaired. I know the clock can be fixed but not sure about the gauges.
  23. I was planning on relining but someone jerry rigged a couple of the shoes and I want them all to be right. Thanks for the reply.
