  1. My Ebay store has points and rotors, go to fa_consigners on Ebay, simply type in Graham in my search window. The numbering system in my 1931 Chilton catalog uses Shurhit numbers. The listings for 1929 is Graham Paige Model 827 & 837 for the dual-point application. I have the 2 point arms which are #813238 and the point bases are #825452 & 820558. I have those at $35.00 per NOS set postpaid. Very odd. I have several sets in stock but they haven't been on my store in a while. I'll work on that tonight. I've just listed the Graham points on my store. The cap is # 825430 and the rotor is #37598. I may have the cap, not sure on that rotor. My store shows pictures of what you need.
  2. Thank you Jim. My earliest automobile parts catalog here is 1919, and I've found one that looks like it, but it's inconclusive by the single picture.
  3. I have several really early black bakelite coils to identify, and would like to know a simple way to test them to make sure they work. The same with this coil box; testing it to see if it works. The coils are from the late teens into the 1930's, none look like the way they ALL were from the later '30s on.
  4. Thank you for your response Smartin. However, how did you know? Was that a part number? Just asking for data/where to look for verification. I know the engine parts are in group 0.000 in the parts books, but all of mine are older or much older than that. Is there a website(S) out there that carry Buick searchable parts I.D.? This is the first time I've been on a forum except the rare times a friend sends me a link. Again, thank you. It gives me incentive to buy a later parts book.
  5. I have a friend who needs to accurately identify a Buick V-8 head that was rebuilt in the past but never installed. I want to help him but could find no info on these number Out There on the web. I'm a long-time BCA member but brand new to this forum. The head has the following numbers cast into the head: "B24"..."B1237650" (is that a part number?) and a big "7". That's all I could find in the casting. There's no machined surface that might have a number on it. Thank you all. If needed, I can take a digital or two and post that.
  6. I have a freind who told me the other night on the phone that he didn't go to Chickasha this year because he went in 2008 and it was mostly Ford parts. He has a 1924 Buick 4 cyl car and he found NOTHING to buy last year. Hershey remains, for him, the place to find parts he needs. AND its a LOT closer to his place in Doylestown PA! I am interested in hearing folks who went this year who have old Buicks, and what they found at Chickasha?
