Hispano Trip meter for sale
Linus Tremaine replied to Linus Tremaine's topic in Automobiles and Parts - Buy/Sell
I have figured out what its for and posted it on ebay. Thanks keiser. I was trying to delete the post and only managed to delete the image. -
All, I am selling a hispano trip meter made by jaeger. It is for H6B and H6C 1919-1934. I am located in Santa Cruz, Ca. it is, as far as I can tell, in working condition. There is some very faint staining on the face. The glass is in good condition. It has the mounting bracket on the back as well as the knurled knob. Lincoln Collector Jack Passey
Linus Tremaine replied to Linus Tremaine's topic in General Discussion
Wayne, Last I heard they were out of print. It looks like you can order one still though? They say 4-6 weeks which seems to imply that it has to be printed. Will they just print one for you? I dont know. I think they will wait until enough orders are placed to make another production run. I would try to order one asap and see what happens. ANYONE who likes antique cars should have this book. It is a priceless view into the history of the hobby. L http://mtpublishing.com/index.php/soon/love-of-cars.html#.VeXIJ_lVhBc -

Wanted to Buy: 1930 Lincoln owners manual
Linus Tremaine replied to pughs's topic in Lincoln - Buy/Sell
david.clement@sbcglobal.net email david. He has them and knows which one is correct for 1930. 1930 is the rarest year and it will be expensive. -
147A was built by the Murray company. It is a 7 passenger sedan. 1023 were built in 1928 which was the last year they were made. A total of 4,404 were made. Production started in 1925.

All, I wanted to pass along the sad news that long time Lincoln collector Jack Passey has died. He was 88. Jack was a great friend to myself and many other antique car enthusiasts. He helped countless people over his life and saved many lincolns from the recycler during their most vulnerable times. Here is a photo of Jack and with myself, my car and two other Lincoln Owners Club members. Jack owned my car in the late 1960s.

Do you need any parts for your car? I have some things for that era lincoln.

The car is a 1929 Type 169B. It is not in Santa Monica, it is in Santa Cruz. I have driven the car. it is very nice. The engine is 100% rebuilt and Carl is very detail oriented. Its a great car. The paint is good. The interior is original and has some wear but its its still pretty good. The car has all new chrome plating. I wish he would keep it.

1926 Peerless Radiator and shell
Linus Tremaine replied to Linus Tremaine's topic in Automobiles and Parts - Buy/Sell
George, I have been offered more than that already. I declined because a peerless collector told me what I should ask for it. I have only posted it a day ago, so I will wait a little longer. I emailed you about a few duesenberg parts. They have sold. -

I have what I have been told is a 1924 or earlier peerless radiator and grill for sale. I think its for later cars but I am not a peerless expert. Pictures posted below. I posted it in the general buy and sell and was told I should put it here instead. Its not perfect, the radiator looks good. The plating is not great on the shell, some rust/pitting is present. I dont see any cracks. Located in california bay area. Really hope not to have to ship this. I would hate for it to get damaged. It would need a big wooden box made for it. Price is 600.00 Thanks please email travellak1@netzero.net

All, I have two winterfront grills available. One is badged for Wills Ste. Claire, the other for packard. I do not know what year they are compatible with. They are patina pieces, not restored or NOS. Both are used and have been removed from cars. I am hoping for 250.00 for each one. Located in Bay area of California. Will negotiate if I am too high. Please email me if you are interested. travellak1@netzero.net Thanks, Linus
