The Anti-lock light is on my '89 TC, the brake petal is hard, and no rear brakes. After pressing the petal 20x I do get a brief pump noise. Does this mean that the accumulator has gone bad?

Did you state that you blend door were not functiioning properly, and that you did find the vac. line that controls them? Using a vac. pump dram a vac. and see if the doors function properly. If with the vac. pull they do function find an alternative source for engine vac. and spice.

I have replaced the head gasket on my 2.2 several times. I finally found success when I used the MOPAR performance head gasket for the 2.2. It works like a charm and is also cheaper than the FelPro or Victor gaskets. The key is to take your time and check everything!
