  1. Hello friends, Can anyone recommend a long well established company with a good reputation for radio rebuilds. I have a 76 Cadillac with a radio which needs attention. It is the seek/scanning analog model. Thank you.
  2. A question for those of you who have had to replace plastic filler panels: I have never had to buy replacement filler panels for any of my cars before, but I am now faced with having to purchase an entire rear set of replacement filler panels from the tail lamp surrounds to the panels above the rear bumper on my 76 Cadillac Fleetwood. I will need the little chrome bits too that trim the panels. I am guessing different companies make these replacement panels and was wanting some feedback from those of you who have already been down this road as to a recommendation of the best ones to buy. Thank you.

  4. Thank you to all who replied to my posting. I had absolutely no knowledge of this subject to share in hopes of helping my friend make a good decision. You have offered many opinions from different sides of the subject that I am sure will help him in making an informed decision. On his behalf, thank you.
  5. Spinneyhill: All my cars are kept indoors, but I remember hearing stories of what you describe; such things as paint blistering. This guy rents his home. Getting the car inside is not going to happen. Are there no covers designed for such a need or would he be better off just to leave the car exposed? Thank you.
  6. I have a friend who needs a car cover for a car that will be sitting outside. I have no experience with outside car covers. Can anyone suggest a quality car cover made for this purpose? Also it is for a 76 Cadillac Limousine (factory built). I am guessing there are companies who make them to fit. Thank you.
  7. Anyone know what this car is? Thanks!
  8. Can anyone identify the car in the attachment photo? Many thanks.
  9. Thank you for replying. Yes, I know how to turn the motor off, I was just wondering if there is a certain way it must be disconnected in order to prevent a vacuum leak. Do the lines need to be plugged? If I am remembering correctly it is powered by vacuum from the motor??
  10. Hi Friends, I have a 76 Cadillac Fleetwood Talisman with the auto leveling system. I have had the rear shocks disconnected and replaced them with manual air shocks. I have not disconnected the pump yet so it is still running. Is there a specific way the pump needs to be disconnected or any lines plugged to prevent loss of vacuum? Thank you

  12. Hi Nick, I ordered the book "Kaiser-Frazer 1947-1955 Photo Archive" by Bill Tilden. I also ordered a company decal I found. And I learned some stuff along the way. Many thanks.
