I have this name plate that I'd like to know more about. It's metal - thin brass - and measures about 4 inches long if it were all there (missing tab at bottom where hole was for fastening). I've looked into the American Bicycle Co. and found an ad where the Waverly Factory made an electric car for the American Bicycle Co. called "Waverly Electric Break" around 1900 - 1902 in Indianapolis, Ind. The ad further says there were 18 models. This plate could be from one of them. Could anyone tell me for sure if this is so? Or perhaps give me other information about where this could have come from? I have added a photo file but my camera only goes down to 1.2mb so hope it will show up for you! When I looked at this photo it shows a red car to me, not what I attached and don't know where it came from. Hopefully, you will receive it correctly! Thanks!
