  1. Was the '25 dash body color, black or woodgrained.
  2. Where could I find this. I'd like to build a model of one. Scan of exploded diagrams from either parts manuals or shop manuals help + dimensions. Or, as an alternative, where is there one on display that one could go photograph and measure? Thank you, Pat

Mark, it is about 100 miles from here, near Matheson, ON. I'm sure it is for sale as the farmer parked it mext to the highway. He likely found it in the back forty. I can try and find out who owns it.
  5. I saw this car along the road today. I pegged it as a 1931 Reo with an older hood and a replaced grille fabric. How close am I? Thank you.

Saw this on the side of the road. Looks to me like a 31 with a replaced grille fabric and an older hood. Any guesses?
  7. At the suggestion of member R1Lark, here is a model of a 62 GT Hawk I recently completed.
  8. Thank you Mr. Keiser. I'll forward this to the guy who was asking. Hope all is well with you and yours. Have a Merry Christmas.
  9. Is there a list of suppliers for Old (1920's) Dodge parts? Thank you, Pat
  10. I might be wrong but I thought the Streamliner was the fastback and the Torpedo was the notchback.
  11. That is why I returned to building models after I completed my '34 Chevy. They cost less, they use less room, the parts are nowhere near as heavy, less bruising and aches. If it doesn't run who cares.
  12. That is a wonderful car. Hope it brings you a lot of pleasure as well as the memories. I have one here which belonged to my dad and a friend has his grandfather's 50 Plymouth. He wasn't as lucky as you though, he had to buy it from the estate so it stayed in the family. enjoy.
  13. Boy, that brings back memories. Absolutely beautiful reconstruction.
  14. Hi Keiser. That is what several people said on the VCCA as well. So all hope isn't lost. Hearst had 900 souls in 1942. So what are the odds of there being many 5 window coupes? sedans & coaches maybe, but coupes? Anyway, I asked the fellow who hosts the hometown old photos on facebook to inquire with the provider who is the daughter of the lady in the photo if she knows anything about the car. The only other niggling doubt is that my car was supposedly grey before my dad and his brother painted it black with a brush. The cars in the photo are dark. But a guy can hope, can he?
  15. Hello gang. this morning a photo on facebook got my heart a-twittering. It was supposedly taken in my hometown in 1942 and shows two 1934 coupes like mine. Now, my uncle had bought mine in 1943, according to family lore. So it was definitely possible that one of them was my car. Until I saw the '49 in the background and checked the license plates which likely are '49 as well. So, false alarm, but exciting anyway.
  16. That will bring an immense sense of satisfaction. Enjoy the moment. First drive is like being original, only once. Video it, make a ceremony of it.
  17. What a beautiful piece of workmanship! Congratulations Richard.
