my appologies, The vin number is only located in one place on the frame. The location is on the driver side frame rail on the top facing the body. It is next to the transmission support rail. You can only see it with the body removed. Since it is located at the out edge you may be able to clean the rail, & use a small mirror, however it would be difficult. The number on the rear rails is a part number & a month and year date code the frame was assembled. Good luck

Hello, The vin number is stamped in two places on the frame, it seems most people are not aware of this however I did a frame offrestoration on a 64 riviera and found that one stamping is facing upwards and in the area of the transmission so unless you have the frame separated you cannot see it. The other stamping is on one side or both sides on the very rear of the frame near the rear bumper. However it is on the side where the factory resonators would normally be. Now, if your frame has rusted to the point that the stamping has disspeared than you will not see it. It is a very light stamping on mine, so I imagine most cars the stamping would have rusted away. if anyone is interested in exact location I can send photos of my frame..

need new seat covers, foam possibly as well. door panels maybe.. Looking for original red color, design and leather inserts as original.. Also best supplier for converable tops and maybe even with glass rear window.. thankyou

I need the following because my parts are pitted badly. Would hope for very good pot metal, light if any piting. 1) driver door interior pot metal chrome parts, mine are badly pitted. Interested in passenger side chrome as well if you have super nice parts. // I also need rear quarter chrome ashtrays on either side due to bad pitting 2) 1 rear quarter rest couresy light bezel 3)hood lip chrome 4) super long chrome pieces on top edges of quarter panels. 5) Red steering wheel in good shape 6) one 8" by 8" section of trunk floor that rusted out 7) if red interior I could use floor heater exhaust plastic piece . 8) exterior lower fat chrome left & right doors, & left & right section next do doors on quarter panel. 9) bucket seats for elctra convertable. I have corect seat trim for buckets, however threw out the seats :-( 10) center console 11) Tilt steering for 64 electra column shift
