1929 Chrysler 65 Crankshaft main rear bearing seal
pre1939chrysler replied to Sasha39's topic in Chrysler Products - General
No, they didn't. Run your car with 30-wt oil for a while and most of the advice you were given. I have the same problem but just have to work with the felt or leather and it will stop. Just take oil with you on trips. You won't loose too much. Another crank would help and I have a few bur I;ll put up with the leaks ,. -

NOT CHRYSLER NUMBERS. TRY PICTURES. -
I'd be careful on that . Some years back Narve and I ran into a problem with a model 65 I sold him. Apparently WPC used a 4 cylinder chasis on the larger roadsters.Narve correct me if I' m incorrect. J

I may have a couple of 29 Chryslers and yes that was the last one for the one picture, I also have others for model 65 which is slightly different. I'll look tomorrow. i know a few guys use the later top-bolted master cylinder but it didn't use the resistor and wasn't as effective. My master on my 29 /75 has worked great since I rebuilt it 25 years ago.

FEDCO Medallion Restoration
pre1939chrysler replied to kbeach's topic in Our Cars & Restoration Projects
Hello gentlemen, I have many fedco plates off early Chryslers and never gave it much attention. Many I have removed from bad dashes ND could take them apart without much trouble . I always start from the back and work foward My 29 Chrysler I have and since I was 13, had a copper color but the silver may have come off I don't think Chryselr would paint any part of the plate.Personally I would not try to remove the plate but plate it it in place.
