my coil pack is leaking badly.do i want to buy new coil packs or do the swap to the other kind?

i don't have a five speed auto like marck but my trans bucks too going into overdrive at full throttle.i get by this by leaving it in drive til i reach the speed i want.

a lean to built on the side of the garage is also an option.

i grabbed one from the pull a part saturday.19.99.they had several to choose from.fwi the foam gasket under it held on very well.i had to find a lug wrench to break it loose.its made of very solid stuff.i think i may paint it gloss black.

mines not my primary transportation.if it dies i will have triple a tow it home where it can sit years if needed.i just found out today that my van may be MUCH cheeper to fix than i was hoping.i might go the route of building a bullet proof auto like the other guy did.id like to be able to tow a camper.

this trans isn't coming out until its no longer drivable but i will change the fluid.i would love to swap in a five speed like daniel did.

afaik the fluid has never been changed.

might be the problem.it never gets above 137 in the morning.the tstat was changed a few years ago.

in the morning whens its in the sixties it takes 2600 rpm to maintain 80 mph which is the average speed on the interstate here.in the afternoon it takes 2200 rpm to maintain 80.any ideas whats happening?torque converter not locking up?need to change fluid?i did add a 1992 riv trans cooler.

you can put 50 watt bulbs in the foglights. i don't know about led.someone was selling those visor clips.i think barney repairs the antennas.you just replace the headlights with the same type leds.

it seems to me that the bearing manufacturer would have used wheel bearing grease if they thought it was better.personally i don't know which is better.

i will be shocked if this gets 5000.collecters don't care about reattas.i will agree the converts are better cars but imo hardtop convertibles are the way to go.

there are new ones for 160 and people don't trust 25 year old parts so people are afraid.
