why best as a parts car?lots of rust?

i took out the dead tape player and took a piece of lexan painted black on the back to give it a mirrored look and mounted a phone mount and usb port on it.it can be removed and the tape player put back in and be origional.i hooked a bluetooth module to the tape player wires so my phone hooks to the radio wirelessly.

i love it.btw caddy wheels look great on reattas.

id at least pull off the oil pan and check the condition on the main bearings.then install new pan gasket.when you install a 'new' engine you want it to be trouble free for at least a year.

id suggest a bluetooth module tied into the wires from the tape player.thats what i have and it can look stock if you don't add the phone mount and usb port like i did.

it seems to me that the freeze plugs would so easy to change then....changing the rear seal [and all the main bearings]might be a good idea.valve cover gaskets too.also the transmission torque converter seal.

thats why i have the 100 mile towing triple a.i don't want to try to fix something on the side of the road.

theres one for sale on charlottes craigslist with 237000 miles.for way too much.

i got them.the one i looked at looks good but i thought there would be adhesive on the back.

i bought a set though i really hate the factory wheels.the car COULD still become a collectors item and i melted the centers removing the clear coat on the wheels.

my problem with the reatta closeouts is they are mostly brake parts and my car no longer has reatta brakes.

i was hoping daniel would tell us what kind of gas mileage his hot rod is getting.

i replaced my front speakers with four ohm speakers.it works fine.

spaz.you do know you can install 6x9 speakers in back using 1990-91 parts?btw daniel once posted a caddy radio module that had preouts.

i need a new one and want to be sure i get the right one.i checked the owners manual and a repair manual but i couldn't find it in there.

on my car i found that the clutch backing plate had broken into two pieces.i was able to get it apart using a tool from autozone.my problem is i can't see it well enough to put it back together.its in a terrible place.

id like to get 7000 for mine too but know the current resale value is 1500.

cadillac wheels fit well and look better.

im not loving the white seats and door panels.

unfortunately for me there are never reattas in the local yards and rivs are the wrong color.[i haven't seen a riv lately either]

im surprised the heat needed to melt the solder doesn't 'fry' the rubber.i may need to get some.
