  1. Some photos posted on a facebook page of travel in the European Alps in the 1920s and 1930s. There is a disc-wheeled roadster in there which looks American, but I can't pick the make. Maybe Rickenbacker?? Or a Ruxton??? Note also the 1936 Dodge with the European cabriolet body.
  2. The Dodge body is all steel, built at a time when many cars used wood frames. It was built by Budd. Budd Co., Edward G. Budd Mfg. Co., Budd Company, Edward Gowan Budd, Joseph Ledwinka, Budd Car, Budd Wheel Co., All Steel Body - Coachbult.com (coachbuilt.com) who used Budd bodies? | The H.A.M.B. (jalopyjournal.com) Morris in England used a similar body for a short time but the deal ultimately fell through - Pressed Steel Company - Morris and Budd | Morris Budd (liquisearch.com)
  3. I presume that is Babette again - something of a stunner - 😉😀 - her hair style suggests an early 1950s photo, maybe.
  4. The photo dates from circa 1924 but I think the car is circa 1913. There was a suggestion it might be Oakland but it has the wrong number of hub bolts. I did wonder if it might be a Grant. Unfortunately not a very high res photo. Facebook
  5. No info with this one - simply captioned Detroit 1906. The vehicle looks to be some sort of light commercial. Note the heavy hubs.
  6. One of series of photos taken at an event at a horse racing track in 1915.
  7. I have seen those track conversion of Fords before but had not seen a Chev.
  8. Perth, Western Australia, 1952, a new car wash being delivered. The crane truck is probably only not much more than 30 years old. Maybe a Federal or?? The flatbed truck is a British-built Bedford, and likely has an Australian-built cab.
  9. That one is a Studebaker, a 1923 Model EL Special Six.
  10. Yes, my 1982 copy of The Standard Catalog says 118 3/4 for the 72.
  11. France, maybe mid 1920s. The van chassis and front panels look American, but I have no idea what it is.
  12. Another one from Whangarei, New Zealand. Dated as 'circa 1920' but I think that might be an early 1920s Willys-Knight behind the pony trap.
  13. An example in New Zealand, restored in the 1970s. The restored car as it was in the early 1950s.
  14. 1947, fairly late in the run. The last number was 17495088 according to my book of serial numbers.
  15. Ho information with this one. Does that say DEERE on the front?
  16. Funny I had a quick look at this one, saw Varun had worked it out then forgot it. Didn't even look at the wheel. 🙄😀
