  1. Actually, the Carfax report shows that it started out in Florida, did a short stint in Illinois, and wound up back in Florida for quite awhile. The grille looks custom, as does the lettering at the rear and the Maserati logo on the hood. Anyone out there seen this stuff before?
  2. Thanks, Tim. I won't be in Florida next week, but I'd love to attend a future event and will definitely plan for it. As I explained to Lou, I know absolutely nothing about the mechanics of this (or any other) car -- but it will be helpful for me to have a resource down there for my mechanic to talk things through with.
  3. Thanks, Lou. I can give you a complete briefing of my mechanical experience right here: I can look up the word "mechanic" in the Yellow Pages. I can also write him a check.....that's about it. I'm planning to keep in touch with the dealership, as they seemed to know a lot about the history and architecture of the TC. I also have access to a fine mechanic down there, but it'll help if I can put him in touch with folks like you. It won't get a ton of use. I'm down there 1-2 weeeks a month, and will only use it to tool around Clearwater itself (which is basically a small town with everything I need close to my condo). So I'm hoping that I'll have very little trouble. From the many posts and reviews I've read, it's a durable little ride.
  4. Hot? Absolutely. Pics? I don't know.....should I hasten that little trip out to the curb? Besides......you'd only love her for my car!
  5. Well, I guess I'm the newest addition to the Club. I bought a Florida condo several months ago and finally decided to stop borrowing my girlfriend's car, and that it was time to keep a car of my own down there (I live most of the time in Syracuse, NY). So we pulled into a muscle car store, and my girl spotted a black 1991 TC with just 37K. I had never seen one before or even heard of this vehicle, but we both fell in love with it. It's #127 of the 1991's and is in absolutely impeccable condition. The dealer will inspect/register it and my girlfriend will pick it up at the end of the week. It will be 3 whole weeks until I get back down there, and my girl looks so hot behind the wheel that she'll probably boot me to the curb and try to keep the car.....but make no mistake.....it WILL stay mine! All I wanted was something fun and interesting, kind of a headturner (maybe a Vette).....but this car is SO unique, and who needs the speeding tickets, anyway?? So cut/paste this url, and drool the same way I did! BTW, I didn't pay nearly the asking price you'll see on the dealer's web site. www.pjsautoworld.com/1990cars/1991chryslermaseratitc.html
