I'm not going to do a ton of driving, but I need 4 decent tires (32x4). Any suggestions (without spending a ton on brand new ones that I'll never wear out)? 1923 DB Coupe.

OK, thanks for the advice. The tank is off the car, 23 DB Business Coupe. I'll opt for not cutting into it, and try Acetone first, since I have it. Then if it needs further cleaning and sealing, I'll look locally for POR-15 products, but I imagine I'll probably have to order online. Fuel gauge is there, but rust covered in the tank. Float seems to be stuck in the goop at the bottom. The face and needle are pretty well disintegrated.

Anyone have a nice, reasonable gas gauge with float for my 1923 Coupe? The car sat for several years, too much sludge and rust in the tank. Also what's best to clean it out? Radiator boil, POR-15 products, muratic acid? Help.

Anyone near Terre Haute Indiana who knows Dodge Brothers cars? I've got a 1923 coupe that I don't know much about. I would like to get it up and running again. I took it a couple of miles down the road recently. Then it died. Then the coil exploded. This is a 12-volt car, but it looks like the old coil says "Bosch 6-volt" on it. Can that be right? I put a new 12-volt coil on, with internal resistor, but it still won't start. Anyone within driving distance who wants to volunteer some time to get this survivor up and running?
