  4. Hi Folks Here is a simple jig I made up to drill the holes in muffler center pipe a piece of 1 1/2" angle iron and a ring from the scrap pile Regards Dave
  5. My floorboards are also origional and no sign of activation for muffler cut out
  6. Would make good speedster motor, might have to hang on tight and grit your teeth

Hi Phil, Thank you for your reply, another Metz owner sent an old advert showing Splitdorf plugs It lists Splitdorf P141 plugs for Metz, on way back from Bendigo swap called in to pick up new tyers n tubes Was shown similar plugs, had never seen brand before, forgotten what was, will find out and add here Regards Dave

Hi fellow Metz owners, through an add I saw the other day I realize I may have the wrong spark plugs, the one I saw listed was a lot longer than Champion 25, I thought I saved add, so the question is which are the correct plugs for Metz 22 and length, where are the plugs available from, thanks for help Regards Dave

Thanks for info regarding muffler, my thoughts on muffler was why does the exhaust gasses escape through 4 small holes, I thought the as called exhaust cutt out would have been the main outlet, then the flap was closed and perhaps the 4 small holes acted as some rype exhaust whistle, only my thoughts, half way through building muffler Regards Dave

There was similar plug advertised on ebay the other day, was supposed to be NOS Metz plug, I have Champion 525 or Champion pkugs, so do I have the incorrect plugs as the Champion 32 appears longer, we are on our way to the Bendigo swap, past half way mark, 8 hours to go, will have to try find Champion 32s while there and compare, any advice greatly appreciated Thanks Dave

  12. Hi folks, I am going to pick up the flex tube, reed n bulb to build the horn. While we have basic measurements for horn, does anyone havdd more exact measuremrnts, Looking at pics appears to have 2 beads front horn, is front edge rolled or raw edge Possibly make roller to make a few of these, that will be waste time n money I kniiw it would be easier to fit external horn

Hi all, I am also looking for radiator cap for 13/14 model 22, my radiator spout has a very fine internal thread which could be better, some pics seem to show an external threaded radiator cap, or were both types fitted, can anyone supply close up pic of cap and any dimensions so can make one, thanks for any help Regards Dave

I have a question about the muffler which has puzzled for some time, in the pics supplied by Luv2Wrench the 2 small tubes which hold the muffler together with the slots cut in them, what is the purpose of these slots, with these slots exhaust gases can escape thru the 4 ends all the time, also the flap on the end of the muffler, what is the purpose of this flap and what type cable fitted to it and where did the control fit in the car, thanks for help Regards Dave

Hi All Sears Highwheeler owners I am having trouble in OZ finding suitable replacement fan bearings Are origional fan bearings still avalable and from where What have other owners replaced their bearings with, part numbers ect I need pics and information on horn mounting bracket or is there a reproduction Also what material was used on the top Thank you for any help, greatly appreciated Regards Dave

Hi All I am looking for a few front and rear spring leaves if anyone has some spares have found a couple that are cracked/broken or a complete spring Also looking for radiator cap and radiator cap filler spout in good condition Is anyone getting a radiator surround made in near future Thanks for any help Regards Dave
  19. Hi Jerry With the Prest-O-Lite tanks in Oz these can not be filled but only used for show on my Metz I am using the Model T carbide generator which can be used with carbide for night parades and takes up less space on the running board Regards Dave

  23. Hi There A chap in OZ has a 2cyl Sizare Naudin, the radiator would have similar features The oil sight gauges are from a USA car I am still looking for one of these oil sight gauges if anyone has one they are not using Regards Dave
