  4. Hi, somewhere in the forums I saw a post that listed replacements bearings for the Metz, being very ill at the time I am sure I saved the link, but I can not find it and have being searching forums to find as I may need replacements asap. Have searched AACA and HCCA, have a feeling may have been Model T forum, have to search by year On the modern side was getting front wheel bearings on my Ford replaced, the type bearing used was very similar to Metz ball race, just bit bigger in diameter, when back in the big cities am going to bearing place to see if they have smaller version. I needed to find a seal for diff near brake drum, found one I think will work with slight modification, will post this when done Regardd Dave

Hi Rick, I assume it is a tapered pin, might have to drill out a bolt and place over it and give it a few loving whacks with a persuader

Hi Metzman Im working on making new hood/bonnet sides, trying to get the roll at the bottom a little neater, had a few tries. Is your radiator cap internal or external thread, my raditor spout is internal thread, many pics show external, may have make new one and cap to match. Have started making new radiator surround. Head back home in few days try remove front axle and springs to get new king pins made, the u bolt nuts are playing hard to remove, not to mention the gear on steering, the lock pin dosent want to give, hope to have time to remove tyers and see if beaded edge rims need attention, spokes need attention, fellee on one wheel especially. Was going to get the Armish to build new wheels, unfortunatly with getting them made and sent to OZ may run out of time to get it ready in time for rally in Sept. May the Metz gods shine upon us Regards Dave

    Who Owns A Metz?

Hi folks My Metz is a 1914 Metz 22 i have a Torpedo tub that came with it, not sure if going to use it, sometimes I like the style, other times I ponder the question. Have thoughts if a 1915 model with doors came to light may use the Torpedo tub on it, I think it suits the style more. If a Plan Car came to light that would be interesting There are not a lot of Metz in OZ Regards Dave
