I use the Revolution device. I like the fact that it has a 3 second prime when the ignition switch is turned on. That can be repeated before cranking the engine. It shuts off the pump when the engine stops.
More information in the link.

I had this same issue with a 57 Golden Hawk. Short story the rebuilder installed the stator backwards. Marks could be seen in convertor where it contacted the transmission shaft. Engine turned until
I tried to tighten the transmission to bell housing bolts.

I don't know if yours is the same but I used 1940 (IIRC) Ford convertible wiper arms from Bob Drake on my 37 Studebaker. They had a newer style blade attachment which is nice..

I have tail light lenses for the 37 and 38 I believe. Plymouth and Dodge. Free for the shipping. They did not fit the 37 Studebaker.

This car looks like a steal to me. Several updates - power brakes firewall mounted - electronic ignition- newer carburetor -new interior Except for ( IMO) spotlights VERY nice and for the price of a paint job.
If I had garage space I would own it. Park this by the tri-five chevys and they look like boxes.

Purple Power does a good job on grease.

Do you have the old one that you could check with a multimeter?
I had the same issue with a 37 studebaker and eventually found it was 0-90. I posted a request for forum members to provide that information on any vehicle they could but got no responses.
Too bad as it never seems to be listed in the literature of the vehicles.

I am doing the same with about 4 boxes I got with cars. I am saving some covers for the pictures and checking for Fred Fox articles on vehicles. My buddy has a 1928 and there doesn't seem to be much
information on that year. I am hoping I can come up with something for him.
Update - I found the Fred Fox 1928 article for him!! And also in another issue a picture of Richard Quinn ( 100 yard champion) set to race a 1928 Dictator. Who won Richard?
I also came across an issue that has all of the Fred Fox articles listed with the vehicle featured and the date. Anybody want it I will send it.

Just read an news article about someone from the FCC stating the need to keep putting AM radios in cars. CD players are apparently now deleted at least in the 2023 F150.

Craig, Ford already eliminated the 5-buttons. My wife's 2023 Ford Edge uses the FordPass app on her iPhone, no buttons on door. The good news is the door can be opened or the engine started from anywhere in the world. The bad news is that you had better keep your phone with you all the time - and keep it charged.
What I do miss is the knobs and buttons that had individual shapes or surface features so that you could find the one you wanted without taking your eyes off the road. Now I've got 25 identically shaped buttons with 6 point type that only a 20-something could read when she takes her eyes off her phone.
Gary my 2023 F150 has the keypad. That is one of the reasons I went with Ford. I just lock the key ,which it has, inside and use the keypad to get back in.
I agree on the knobs.

Follow up. I just did a search and found the thread where I learned how to do it. This might give you some leads. Click on the "7 replies" to see it all.

I have Coker and Diamond Back. I prefer the Diamond Back as I believe it is easier to keep them cleaned up .

Pressure washer (Is it worth the money to buy a hot water/steam pressure washer or better to go with a cold-water high-pressure machine?)

Purple Power is a great grease remover.
