  2. When you post a reply or a new topic there is a paper clip below which you click on and you can attach photos from your computer. Go to the photo and double click and it will be in your reply.
  3. Let's move to email. It is much more convenient. brownsL3@pie.midco.net
  4. I tried to send a message but it would not let me. I have the cart that I built to set the body on. You can have it is you want to come and get it.
  5. I have one - does not have the original drivetrain.
  6. 1936 Studebaker Dictator Coupe owned by a mechanic and everything worked $60.Now in the Pioneer Auto Museum in Murdo, SD Forgot to mention I tripled my money when I sold it to the Museum for $180!
  7. I use the Revolution device. I like the fact that it has a 3 second prime when the ignition switch is turned on. That can be repeated before cranking the engine. It shuts off the pump when the engine stops. More information in the link. https://www.revolutionelectronics.com/Products/Fuel_Pump.html
  8. I had this same issue with a 57 Golden Hawk. Short story the rebuilder installed the stator backwards. Marks could be seen in convertor where it contacted the transmission shaft. Engine turned until I tried to tighten the transmission to bell housing bolts.
  9. I don't know if yours is the same but I used 1940 (IIRC) Ford convertible wiper arms from Bob Drake on my 37 Studebaker. They had a newer style blade attachment which is nice..
  10. I have tail light lenses for the 37 and 38 I believe. Plymouth and Dodge. Free for the shipping. They did not fit the 37 Studebaker.
  11. This car looks like a steal to me. Several updates - power brakes firewall mounted - electronic ignition- newer carburetor -new interior Except for ( IMO) spotlights VERY nice and for the price of a paint job. If I had garage space I would own it. Park this by the tri-five chevys and they look like boxes.
  12. Do you have the old one that you could check with a multimeter? I had the same issue with a 37 studebaker and eventually found it was 0-90. I posted a request for forum members to provide that information on any vehicle they could but got no responses. Too bad as it never seems to be listed in the literature of the vehicles.
  13. I am doing the same with about 4 boxes I got with cars. I am saving some covers for the pictures and checking for Fred Fox articles on vehicles. My buddy has a 1928 and there doesn't seem to be much information on that year. I am hoping I can come up with something for him. Update - I found the Fred Fox 1928 article for him!! And also in another issue a picture of Richard Quinn ( 100 yard champion) set to race a 1928 Dictator. Who won Richard? I also came across an issue that has all of the Fred Fox articles listed with the vehicle featured and the date. Anybody want it I will send it.
  14. Just read an news article about someone from the FCC stating the need to keep putting AM radios in cars. CD players are apparently now deleted at least in the 2023 F150.
  15. Gary my 2023 F150 has the keypad. That is one of the reasons I went with Ford. I just lock the key ,which it has, inside and use the keypad to get back in. I agree on the knobs.
  16. Follow up. I just did a search and found the thread where I learned how to do it. This might give you some leads. Click on the "7 replies" to see it all.
  17. I don't, but I did that with my 37 President trunk lock. I do not remember where I found the corrrect location but it must be available somewhere. I must have used a 1/16 drill bit.
  18. I have all those tools to work on my 1937, 1955 and 1957 Studebakers as well as the skidsteer. I thought this was an antique car forum -LOL!
  19. I have Coker and Diamond Back. I prefer the Diamond Back as I believe it is easier to keep them cleaned up .
