Has anyone ever had one of these units repaired? I talked to Ficken wiper service but they do not have parts for that type. Its my understanding that they were used on some Full Classic automobiles. Ours is mounted on a 1932 Thorne gas electric bread truck.

thank you! Is the roster online? I am not a member of the club -
I'm in need of a right front door for a 51 kaiser special. Any help would be appreciated

This one was a bread truck then used as a mobile welder and pipe thawing rig. The owners father put a surplus 50's Chrysler industrial flat 6 in it. We are located in Hartleton, PA

We have in our shop a 32 Thorne. The truck is mostly complete. It is missing the rad cap and the lever for the ignition is broken. The lever is very similar to a 28 dodge headlamp lever but the base is longer on the Thorne. I attached a couple pics. The radiator is a dodge unit #585936

The 28 I'm working on is nearing completion. I'm a little stuck on installing the fan belt. Since there is no obvious adjustment like on most cars does the fan pulley slide in and out? I see there are two spots that look like slide adjustment, but I also notice it looks like someone welded two plug welds to possibly keep it from moving? Am I correct in that the fan hub slides in and out? Thank you!

Does anyone know what is used for the seal to the crank pulley? I've had no luck finding an actual seal for it. Thanks!

They do say tilt Ray head lamp on them.
-
Well the car I'm working on is a 28 victory six but the lights who knows I guess. The owner says they are for the car but I really don't know.
-
Ok no cowl lamps on this car. I found one set that seems to fit the buckets but the harnesses don't fit them. I guess I'm gonna have to do a little fabrication to make it work.
-
Ok now I'm starting to narrow it down. I have 5 reflectors. 2 with one bulb holder, two with two spring retained bulb holders and one that the harnesses I have fit. The single reflector does not fit the headlamp buckets though. It is larger and deeper. What nightmare lol
-
Thanks guys! I guess the only thing I'm unsure of is it seems as if the reflectors have bulb holders in them already. Then I also have the wired bulb holders. And there doesn't seem to be a way to connect the two?
-
I working on assembling the headlamps on a 28. It seems I am missing something between the reflector and the harness? The reflector seems to have sockets held in with springs and the harness has sockets also?

jreeder41 replied to jreeder41's topic in Dodge & Dodge Brothers
any ideas on what distributor they used? -
We are in need of a distributor for a 28 victory six dodge. The car we are working came in pieces and unfortunately had a later model distributor in the boxes of parts. Hoping somebody can help or point me in the right direction.Thank you!!
