It has been a while but since I physically laid eyes on the car but I do remember it quite well and looking back in my messages with the gentleman who was helping the previous owner sell it, I got a refresher on it. the car didn't run at all when I saw it. in fact it had been sitting for decades. the paint was not in good shape. there was a cover on the car that was probably damp at one point and it did a lot of damage to the paint on the drivers side. I remember at least one baseball sized rot hole through the passenger side rocker and I'm sure the rust in other spots was more extensive. the top was old, not in good shape. chrome wasn't very good. I love 47 Cadillacs more than most. I own a series 62 coupe and am in negotiations for a convertible currently, ( also a 3 speed funny enough) so I hate to seem like I am dragging the seller, Just sharing my experience with the car to help out any potential buyers. It seems like a lot of the key details have been left out.
