  1. Just what I wanted to know, thanks. Shouldn't be too tough to get a new one, just drop into Walmart.
  2. Does anyone have any idea what an original battery for a 91 might be like? It's one of the few things that have been changed over the years and I would like to take a stab at getting a similar one for a replacement.........Grizzz
  3. I too am a fan of Meguiar's products. Quite a few are available in gallon sizes and/or concentrated forms that can save you a few bucks when you are doing a lot of cars. One of the tricks I learned from the people who resurect Vettes is waterless hand cleaner. Works in places that don't like water and you don't need gloves to use it. It will also not remove some factory markings as easily as other cleaners. One other comment, alternators really don't like water. If I spray under the hood the alternator is covered. Happy rubbing
  4. Ok, that's what I needed to know. Thanks for the invitation for dinner. We have a room at the Comfort Suites just off the square in downtown Carlisle and usually walk to one of the resturants in town or eat on their patio. They have a nice buffet. Anyone else staying there?
  5. I want to try to bring my TC to Carlisle this summer. When we come with the Corvettes the club has an area set aside by Carlisle for our use. Are there any special arrangements made by the folks that come to the Mopar show with their TC's? Already have a room reserved.
  6. The only thing is that donor cars would probably be listed as "junk." Don't let them get their foot in the door or those will be gone too, and in our case a very large supply of the parts.
  7. I'll give you a reason............... It is so ugly not even a mother could love it!
  8. Just checked, looks like a "Classic 65"
  9. Perfect! Thanks so much...............

I never drive to Greensburg, that's north, uphill you know! Too much gas!
  11. A scan would be great. It seems to me to be a little something we need to add to the knowledgebase.
  12. OK new question. I'm getting ready to remove the top for the first time and put the cloth top up. I understand that the pull down motors can be troublesome. When you push the switch to lock or unlock do you just push it or do you hold it down until it seems free or tight as the case may be.

  14. The only thing missing from my tool kit is the knife. Has anyone published a detailed discription or pictures of it so that a replacement may be bought. I understand it was a Wenger. Thanks Griz
