1962 Porsche Super 90 hardtop-cabriolet

West Peterson

This 1962 Porsche Super 90 hardtop-cabriolet (equipped with a removable hardtop) was ordered new by a Leutenant Col. in the U.S. air force. He took delivery in Germany, and drove the car around the Porsche test track at that time. Ferdinand Porsche signed the car's owner's manual. The car is pictured in the first-owner's son's high-school year book (General H.H. Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany) with Priscilla Anne Beaulieu standing next to it.

Slate grey, red interior, chrome wheels, AM/FM radio, luggage rack, deluxe horn ring, and hardtop.

The Super 90 engine was the biggest engine available at the time.
