Diane's '73 Pinto at the Hamden Memorial Day Weekend Car Show, 5/29/05

We made it out to the huge "Memorial Day Classic" car show at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, on Sunday, May 29, 2005, with Diane's '73 Pinto Squire. We were entry #584 in the show, when we got there around 10:30am or so, and I'm sure they easily eclipsed 600 cars, since many more arrived after us. It was a great day to be out and about in the old Pinto, and to enjoy this magnificent antique auto show. It is my understanding that the event is a joint production of the CT Classic Chevy Club ('55-'57 Chevy enthusiasts) and the Hamden Police Department, and proceeds go toward benefiting many worthwhile local charitable organizations.
