The Army purchased 163 of these engines during WWI.  Three of the machines were assigned to Camp Lewis.  One of the Doughboys has the booster line and is ready to fight fire!  These were small machines without a lot of horsepower.  You could only get one ortwo good streams going with one of these and you were at the capacity of the pump.
