“In Memory of Our Absent Brothers and Sisters.”


This is a magnificent 1929 Model A Ford that I photographed on Monday, May 28th, 2007, at the edge of the Branford Green, in Branford, CT. The event was the annual Memorial Day observances and parade. This photo was from before the start of the parade, when the ceremonies were still ongoing at the Green; you can see many people assembled for these in the background of the photo.

The owner of this car does a great job helping keep focus on the meaning of Memorial Day, via the magnetic signage on the car, which I've used as the title of the photo.
