This is a 1926 REO T6 E series roadster which used to be a fire chief’s car in Appleton WI. This car has a lot of history and documentation to back it all up .it has been meticulously restored back to its original condition. Restoration took over 12 years to complete. We have had our fun with this old girl and it’s time to let someone else have some fun. Only serious injuries please.

I got 1934 REO sedan, located in Ontario, Canada. It has been restored/modernized at some point, but then been in traffic accident.

1) The bellhousing is broken badly. Has anyone ever saved a thing like this?

2) Where is the VIN number located, on the frame, on the body, on the engine? Paperwork has it as 6-characters, second being letter S, others are numbers.

As I am inclining to not to use this engine, write me if you need any parts from it. May trade to other parts that suit this car.

I was changing my head on the car and broke the wire off at the base of the sensor, I tried to repair it but it doesn't work now.

I have always enjoyed the looks of the sedan and want to make sure there is help out there before undertaking the car to get running.

What bothers me is that I came across a group site that was titled the Reo Club of American and informed me that there is no new membership at this time. I hope that this is not true. Regards

I have no personal interest or stake in the eventual sale of this 1928 REO 4dr sedan & Parts.

I'm (still!) trying to figure out how to remove the interior door handles in a 1930 REO Flying Cloud (Murray body).  The window winders are no problem - push down the escutcheon, pop the pin (left photo).  The door handles are entirely stubborn and do not appear to be using the same mechanism (right photo).  A) Does anybody know how these are supposed to come apart and  any suggestions for doing that without damaging anything?  I've tried the suggestion of a very thin modeling saw between the escutcheon and the handle, no improvement.

Also - if anybody knows where to find the appropriate side window rubber weather strip for the FC, would love a heads up.. have tried Metro MMP, Steele Rubber, etc.

1929 - 1932 I think. One of the hold downs for the rim will need to be repaired (easy fix). Missing one REO badge on the top of the rim.

I bought these at Hershey a number of years ago for a Franklin Olympic, very similar.

I found the correct lights finally and I would like to sell these.

Survivor car - engine rebuilt, paint is older, interior is original. 6 volt and vacuum tank operation. New push rods and fresh head when put back on the road 18 yrs ago. Gas tank was re-coated, water pump rebuilt in 2022. Great driver - fun touring car!

1925 REO Model E Roadster. This vehicle has purchased brand new by the artist Leonard Gaspard. Pinnacle mountain auto are the 4th owners.
There has been a ton of work done on the REO since we purchased it including:
Rebuilt steering wheel spokes,  New spark plugs, removed and boiled and cleaned fuel tank, replaced fuel lines, installed freshly rebuilt original carburetor, installed 6V fuel pump for liability, repaired clock, install new 6V battery, repaired drivers rear shock strap.
The vehicle looks beautiful and runs very well!

)  Primary goal here is verification before going to the State to try to get a title made for it.  Secondary goal is being able to properly preserve its history for the future.  OK, those may be switched around - I could probably call it a Speedwagon and the State wouldn't know any different <sigh> 

I've stumbled into a handful of correct parts on ebay so far, but I think that's more blind-luck than proper identification... Regardless, any input would certainly be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Distributed to communities across the US, the rigs were provisioned with a first aid kit, equipment, gas masks, water, tools, and stretchers. Many saw use of these during natural disasters.

I am selling this car for a friend. It had belonged to his father who had died decades ago. He had never seen it or knew of its existence until after his father’s passing. He had never seen it run. This car was just removed from almost 40 years in storage. The car is mostly original except for a paint job that was done about 60 years ago. It is very complete. I am aware of only the top bow saddles being missing. It starts easily and runs well although I have only had it on very short runs around the block. The body is straight with no rust or wood rot. There is a small dent on the left front fender where something fell on it. The original leather upholstery is brittle and is tattered in places. The top has several holes in it. The top bows are in very good condition. The wiring seems mostly complete and original but several wires were disconnected when I first saw it. I have managed to get the starter and ignition working but have not attempted to find out why the headlights and horn don’t work. The amp meter shows charging when the engine is running. Please review the photos and feel free to ask any questions. The car is currently stored in Carson California near the 405 freeway in Long Beach. If you would like to inspect the car, please call me at 310-200-6776 PDT to set up an appointment. I can show the car almost anytime late mornings through early evening 7 days a week. He is asking for offers around $15,000 for the car. The car has a clear title and is currently on a California DMV Certificate of Non-Operation so no back fees will be due when registering in California. Upon closer examination, it is apparent that the dangling rusty spring is part of the starter pedal return and not part of the pawl engagement mechanism so still no idea about how the pawl gets engaged.

These are not interchangeable with the 2-cyl Model A hub caps, they are I think 2-1/2"-16.

This 1-cyl Model B hub cap is 2-1/8"-16.

Curiously, I have seen identical looking hubcaps on other makes of the same era.  Reo may have purchased the axles from another company.  If anyone has some insight into this, please let me know.

A set of four, steel REO wheel centers/hub covers in a pile of parts, which I believe are from a 1914-1918'ish REO and cover the  center part of the wheel, like a hubcap. They measure about 7 3/8" in overall diameter at the base and are about 4 1/2" in overall height. They are in really nice condition and the brass circular trim pieces are intact and very nice with the REO logos stamped in them. I'll take 100.00 for the set of four INCLUDING shipping within the USA. -STILL AVAILABLE!

The single, threaded aluminum REO hubcap is about 3 1/2" in overall diameter and about 2 1/2" tall. It is in really nice condition. The price is 30.00 INCLUDING shipping within the USA.-SOLD

The intake port holes are about 1 3/8" and the mounting flange holes are about 2 1/2" center to center..  The carburetor hole is about 1 1/4" and the carburetor mounting holes are about 2 3/4" center to center. It is in excellent condition.

Take a look at the photos, what you see is what you get.

I'm not hugely active on the forum, but I've previously posted a bit under Buick when our museum recently purchased a 1908 Buick Model 10, and againunder Overland where I had a similar question to the one I'm presaentin here.

We've recently purchased a 1931 REO Royale 8 Victoria for our museum here in Copenhagen, Denmark.  I'm currently in the process of writing new spec. & description sheets for all our cars, and I've unfortunately not been able to find out how many Royale 8 were produced.  I'm after the combined production number of all Royale 8 between 1931 and 1933 please.  It would be hugely appreciated if anyone has this information...

I have been told that this jug is interchangeable for all REO's from about 1910 - 1924.

If anyone know of one for sale, please PM me.
