The cost seems like it would scare off interested parties, but perhaps there is something I'm missing about the car.......anyway, at a much lower price, this looks like a car you could be excited about.

https://www.facebook.com/share/1DWyR8fzEv/

This is a 1926 REO T6 E series roadster which used to be a fire chief’s car in Appleton WI. Couple bad spots, some scratches and a line has been cut out, otherwise in pretty good condition. Weighs a bit under 5 lbs and 8"x13 1/4". Will just fit into one of the thin, medium flatrate boxes. Kind of a neat piece if you're into REO's. It's $75 plus about $21 for the box. It's not perfect but pretty nice. Right at 10 1/8" in diameter. Has an original looking 3/16" threaded rod out the back to secure it. I presume it had a big washer and wingnut on the back but those didn't come with it. $129.50 plus a large USPS flatrate box of $24.75 to ship it lower continental 48. I have nothing else that I know of for this era of REO. Please PM me if interested.

It's really in pretty good condition, there is a little rustout in the very back where there is double sheetmetal that can collect and hold dirt and moisture. I presume this one is the same as 1935 since it was about the end of the line for REOs. I'm not up to boxing and shipping it so hopefully it can be picked up. If it has to be shipped I can probably get it to a shipping service. Otherwise I might be heading many hundreds of miles East and West on I-80 ln the coming months but can't say when right now. $175 here.

1935 REO Royale for sale in London Ontario Canada.

Not mine, but belongs to a recently deceased friend's estate. This had been a project for over 20 years by a real mechanic/restorer. The chassis has been completely restored. The engine and transmission rebuilt with some break in hours. All parts are there minus the rear bumper, it may show up. The interior has all the seat frames and new upholstery that needs to be stitched and fitted. It has been inside a heated shop for at least 20 yrs. Runs smooth. Needs to be completed. Bargain priced at $12,500 Canadian dollars. That's $9250 US dollar. Can be seen on hoist by serious buyer. Contact me here via message and I'll put you in touch with the owners people.

I love roadsters from the mid 20's up into that 1932 era. I am also drawn to the smaller independent Makes. What do the REO people say about this car? If the data base I use is correct, it is 120 inch WB with a 239 in 6 cyl. A "T-6 sport roadster. I saw a few examples on line in a different color scheme and thought they were pretty handsome.

his father passé away 4 years ago and is closing the business. He will be sending all remaining parts to the scrap yard that he cannot sell. If anyone wants to fill a container with parts, he will sell for pennies on the dollar. I suggest anyone or group that would be interested to contact Jeff before all is gone forever. His contact is:

Hoping to stumble into some experts here - haven't been able to find much concrete information so far. According to the internet (who we know would never steer us wrong 😉 ) that serial number should be a '27 Wolverine (end of discussion, thank you, goodnight, right?) -- yet every Wolverine pic I've found has a different dash, different engine, different louvers, and probably a half dozen other inconsistencies I haven't noticed yet. Is this a Friday car that just got a bunch of leftover parts thrown at it on the assembly line? Or an early enough production number that it got built differently than what the rest of the internet has shown? Or are there different trim levels of the Wolverine that could account for all of this? The... uh..... whatever-it-is up on the firewall looks a little out of place, but everything else seems to have a pretty consistent patina. Of course it's possible a lot of things could have been changed over most of a century, but my gut instinct says that's probably not the case (we can ignore those back seats for the purpose of that statement ) Primary goal here is verification before going to the State to try to get a title made for it. Secondary goal is being able to properly preserve its history for the future. OK, those may be switched around - I could probably call it a Speedwagon and the State wouldn't know any different <sigh>

I've stumbled into a handful of correct parts on ebay so far, but I think that's more blind-luck than proper identification... Regardless, any input would certainly be appreciated. Thanks in advance

During the early days of the Cold War, in an effort to prepare cities for a potential nuclear exchange with the Soviet Union, the federal government ordered up 1,300 Civil Defense Rescue trucks; built by Companies like REO and GMC, they were also knows as "Calamity Janes." Distributed to communities across the US, the rigs were provisioned with a first aid kit, equipment, gas masks, water, tools, and stretchers. Many saw use of these during natural disasters.

The truck runs well. ONLY has 17,000 miles.

1915 REO the Fifth 4 cylinder touring for sale

I am selling this car for a friend. It had belonged to his father who had died decades ago. He had never seen it or knew of its existence until after his father’s passing. He had never seen it run. This car was just removed from almost 40 years in storage. The car is mostly original except for a paint job that was done about 60 years ago. It is very complete. I am aware of only the top bow saddles being missing. It starts easily and runs well although I have only had it on very short runs around the block. The body is straight with no rust or wood rot. There is a small dent on the left front fender where something fell on it. The original leather upholstery is brittle and is tattered in places. The top has several holes in it. The top bows are in very good condition. The wiring seems mostly complete and original but several wires were disconnected when I first saw it. I have managed to get the starter and ignition working but have not attempted to find out why the headlights and horn don’t work. The amp meter shows charging when the engine is running. Please review the photos and feel free to ask any questions. The car is currently stored in Carson California near the 405 freeway in Long Beach. If you would like to inspect the car, please call me at 310-200-6776 PDT to set up an appointment. I can show the car almost anytime late mornings through early evening 7 days a week. He is asking for offers around $15,000 for the car. The car has a clear title and is currently on a California DMV Certificate of Non-Operation so no back fees will be due when registering in California. I have a couple of videos of the first drive in 40 years of the car and the first ride ever of the owner. They are too big for the forum but I can text them if you are interested in the car.

I am working a 1915 REO which has been parked for about 40 years. After cleaning and prepping the car I put a battery in and pressed the starter pedal. The starter motor has a worm gear which turns a capstan gear that turns freely on a shaft that runs between the engine and the transmission. There is a smaller gear attached to the shaft. the capstan gear has a pawl that is suppose to grab onto the smaller gear but there is a spring pulling the pawl up so it doesn't drop into the slots on the smaller gear. ( see first photo ) On the opposite side of the capstan gear the shaft of the pawl extends through the gear. ( see second photo ) There is spring that hangs down above the capstan gear but if it was connected to the pawl shaft the gear couldn't turn 360 degrees without breaking the spring. I don't understand how this is suppose to work. Am I missing a piece? Any information about this would be greatly appreciated.

Upon closer examination, it is apparent that the dangling rusty spring is part of the starter pedal return and not part of the pawl engagement mechanism so still no idea about how the pawl gets engaged.

I recently purchased a nicely restored 1922 Reo T6 7 passenger touring car that is missing its top rest/clamps that support the top when it is lowered. The rear of the body, just under the gypsy curtain has the holes to mount the clamps, but the clamps are missing. If anyone has a set of clamps installed on their car, could you photograph the parts and take some measurements for me. There are some pairs on ebay that may work...

I need 1 valve lifter for my 1931 REO Royale engine overhaul. Recent research with help from Joe Asuchak and Harley Goff reveals that the same lifter was used on 1931 Flying Cloud models 20 and 25 and Royale models 8-31 and 8-35. All showed REO part number 3AA21 for this lifter in the REO parts book for 1931. In addition, checking in a parts cross reference book for different years and makes it turns out that REO started using this lifter for the 1927 Flying Cloud model A, and continued using the same one throughout the years for the model C in '29, models 20 & 25 in '30, S, S2, S4, S5, even the 6A in 1935. There it was listed as part number GU-120. This of course was a great relief for me to discover as it increases the potential source pool immensely.

Does anyone reading this have an extra one of these or know of where I could buy one? If so please contact Carl Eidsness at carleidsness@gmail.com
Thanks,
Hello I have a 1928 reo parts car for sale. It could also be a very nice restoration project. It is stored indoors. It is located in Sonoma California. If anyone is interested I can post photos and engine numbers.

Found this engine here in Sweden. REOs are extremely rare here, maybe we have a handful. The story about the engine is that a farmer bought it during WW2, only for using the axels in order to build a trailer (cars where rather worthless here during WW2, since gasoline was on ration and the army had seized the most commonly sized car tires). The farmer kept booth the engine and body in his barn. Someone bought the body in 1959, but the engine remained. My question: What year is the engine, and what model was it mounted in? It is a straight eight, flathead. I can read REO and CLOUD on the side (maybe there are more letters behind an oil filter container (I believe it is). Plate reads R800-977.

A set of four, steel REO wheel centers/hub covers in a pile of parts, which I believe are from a 1914-1918'ish REO and cover the center part of the wheel, like a hubcap. They measure about 7 3/8" in overall diameter at the base and are about 4 1/2" in overall height. They are in really nice condition and the brass circular trim pieces are intact and very nice with the REO logos stamped in them. I'll take 100.00 for the set of four INCLUDING shipping within the USA. -STILL AVAILABLE!

The single, threaded aluminum REO hubcap is about 3 1/2" in overall diameter and about 2 1/2" tall. It is in really nice condition. The price is 30.00 INCLUDING shipping within the USA.-SOLD

I recently purchased a suppossed 1930 REO Flying Cloud, no title, just the chassis number (CB1098). The car will need some work but it's worth to restore
so it's a great solid base with all the original parts, including the engine. The upholstery seems to have been redone in a kind of corduroy but the finish is not very good
I wonder which is the factory one. The engine was spray-painted in a medium red that I don't know if it's the own color. It seems that the body was repainted
in a combination of colors to resemble ie a Ford A but the factory one would be black. My aim is to restore the car the more original as possible so I'll need some information.

In principle, these would be the missing parts:

- Radiator emblem (not sure what's the right one)

- Bumper hinges and support

- Headlamp lens

- Hood ratchet

- Inside door handles

- Gasoline tank cap

Not many parts for this car in Spain, I only know two more units, one in the Canarias Islands, also a 1930, and the other in Valencia, a 1914 car. I have the Shop Manual but

a spare parts book would be very useful too. Thanks in advance

I'm not hugely active on the forum, but I've previously posted a bit under Buick when our museum recently purchased a 1908 Buick Model 10, and againunder Overland where I had a similar question to the one I'm presaentin here.

We've recently purchased a 1931 REO Royale 8 Victoria for our museum here in Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm currently in the process of writing new spec. & description sheets for all our cars, and I've unfortunately not been able to find out how many Royale 8 were produced. I'm after the combined production number of all Royale 8 between 1931 and 1933 please. It would be hugely appreciated if anyone has this information...

I have a friend that is looking for a cylinder jug for a 1912 REO. It looks like picture. This one has a crack on the inside of the cylinder in the combustion chamber above the cylinder wall.

I have been told that this jug is interchangeable for all REO's from about 1910 - 1924.

If anyone know of one for sale, please PM me.

	Thanks
