Any idea what this wheel fits? It has a 4.40-4.50 x 21" tire on a demountable rim. They are fronts w/o brakes. Any ideas? moseshoses@yahoo.com Thanks, Roger E.

I have the same wheels on my 1915 C25 speedster, but they are not original to the car. I too would like to know what they are from. They do fit the car, so my guess is a GM automobile.
In 1930, Buicks jumped from 31", all the way down to 18" with their small series cars, including the Marquette.

If you were to take the rim off the wheel and post a picture of the latch holding the ends of the rim together it would help greatly.

The clamps look like Motor Wheel and may have MW stamped on them, they were used on several makes of wheel. The pic of the locking mech. and the drive system(pin drive, saddle drive, etc) will help to ID the wheels

Jaxon #29 rims Were used on Motor Wheel wheels and came as standard equipment on several cars including Dort and Franklin but most likely these are off Essex 1924-26 as they were the highest volume user.

The last of the special built pedal cars will be going up for sale at the RM Auctions in Scottsdale in January. Built by the renown restorer Fran Roxas, this "Dusey" is truly is another work of art.
