On my 1932 901, where the front wheel brake cable goes through the chassis, there is a cover on each side. The problem is I don't remember which one goes on the outside of the chassis, and which goes on the inside. Can anyone help? The packet of pictures with this on it has been lost. Many thanks for all your help...B

Packard32.

They go around the cable on the outside of the chassis. #1 goes on the inside (between the cable and the chassis). Hopefully I explained that clearly enough.

Yes, they both go outside the chassis, with the cable between them. The notched #2 plate helps lock the cable in position and #1 is the cover plate.

That's really an easy mistake to make. You're definitely not the first to try to do it that way. wink
