Now that I got my parts car back, I've finally gotten the urge to start working on my car after 6 years of seeing it in parts in my garage. Does anyone have a pair of regular front fenders in good shape for a 29 Commander Vicky they would be willing to part with? The ones I have are in horrible condition. I was going to use the fender from the parts car that has a wheel well and convert my Vicky to spokes, but I think I will leave it with wooden wheels since I have a complete set. I'm on a tight budget so I couldn't afford to purchase a set of wire wheels. I would be willing to trade the fender with a wheel well for one without. It is covered in rust but seems to be in fairly decent shape, the only thing wrong I noticed were pin holes at the part of the fender that makes contact with the chassis. Also, how much would a set of pistons and rings cost for an FD and where could I get some? I don't know yet if the one's I have are usable. It looks like a few of the cylinders were exposed to water and has rusted so I guess they will have to be bored out or something. I don't know what other parts I will be needing so I will become a regular on the board now. Also, I would be willing to trade parts I have that I don't end up using for parts that I need.
