75 Buick Riv -- vin help

First let me say a hello to all of you. My question is
I recently purchased a 1975 Buick Riviera from an old couple. Its
a 1 owner car and it looks like its been repainted at some point.
I am planning on restoring the car but need to know the original
paint that was on the car. Only info I have is the VIN which is
4287T5H467309
If anyone can help with finding this information I would
appreciate it .

Adam is correct about the data plate. That being said, there is some information that can be gleaned from the VIN. 4 = Buick Z = Riviera 87 = 2 door hardtop T = 455 V8 4-bbl 5 = 1975 H = Flint, MI assembly plant The remainder is the sequential production number of the car.
