A recent auction in Australia advertised for sale a Torbensen 1902 model single cylinder, 3 seat tourer.

Can anyone tell me any further information about this marque including where I might find further information and whether there might be owners of other examples of this vehicle that I could contact?

"TORBENSEN -- Bloomfield, New Jersey -- (1902 - 1906)"

My 1923 Olds truck has Torbensen front and rear axles as standard equipment. I didn't know they made cars. My rear axle has a 1908 patent date on it.

They also manufactured spark plugs.
