Occasionally here in the AACA forums we all get frustrated with the cynicism and hyperbole from an extremely small but vocal minority. As a general rule, we try to ignore them. However, every so often our moderators have to keep the peace by deleting posts or banning a chronic offender. Thankfully only a handful of posts are deleted each month, and banning has happened less than 10 times in 12 years.

Simply for doing what is best for the forum our moderators are vilified, burned in effigy, and compared to Hitler, Stalin, -- even Britney Spears. grin

I appreciate our moderators. Without them this forum would not exist.

THANK YOU!

I agree with you, Peter, the forum moderators do a lot of good work. Most of it's probably unseen and unheard.

I don't see how anyone that's an AACA DF moderator could have been seen as similar to Britney Spears. She isn't working there under a pseudonym, I hope. I think she's too busy with her job as spokesperson for the compressed air industry...or whatever it is she does. Haven't you seen the commercials: "Air -- it's what's for dinner! Oops -- Come in for a fill-up, it's, like, cheaper than gas!"?

Hear, hear!

And I, for one, would like to see much more banning of Britney Spears. You'd receive no complaints from me.
