if there are interests, I have an 1800 for sale (B/O) I am not doing e-bay because I would like to see this go to someone that can do something with it.

This model is known mainly as the "Triumph Renown". The "Triumph 1800" was a very similar rumble seat equipped roadster built on the same chassis. I believe that since it's the same chassis it used the same data plate.

Although the Renown is a 4 door sedan, it is much less common in the U.S and is at least as desirable as the roadster. You might want to retitle your thread to reflect this.

I believe the Triumph 1800/2000 looks similar to later Renown but have a different chassis I am suprised to find that they sold in the US? in production 1947-1948

This vehicle, believe it or not is actually a 1946 1800 Saloon. I was told the wheelbase is about 2" shorter than the 1947-1948 2000 Renoun (I could be mistaken). I was told by a triumph club in England that have been keeping track of the data plate numbers and their locations, that this vehicle is one of approximately 20 that made it here to the states when new, and the only one known left here in the states. They also informed me that there are around a dozen of these 1800 Saloons left running on "their side of the pond"... so for this particular model, I guess it's kind of rare?
