How are your valve cover gaskets ? Do you see any signs of a leak ?

If the plug is not sealed/seated this will happen. Replace the plug and be sure it is tight.

No leaks at valve covers.Engine is very clean,so leaks would be easy to detect. The plug is cyl. # 5 I think, closest to oil dip stick.Oil will show at the base of plug ,small amount.Plug is tight.I would think if I had blow by it would show on plug.Right now no one at the ROA has any hints either.

It has to be a leak someplace, have you recently switched oils? Or something ya can do in the meantime is go to a heavier weight. I should be running a 10W 30, but put 10W 40. The car has a small leak and this seems to slow it down.
