Well, months after pulling off the door handles and panels I am putting them back on. Now I cannot remember where to put these springs laying around in the parts box.

There is a regular coil spring as well as a conical coil spring. Can amyone please tell me where they go? Are they inside the panel or outside? One on the door handle and one on the window crank and just which one where??!!

I think I have answered my own question after bit of deductive reasoning. It looks like the conical spring goes between the door and the door panel with the small end around the door handle mechanism. The other spring that is only slightly smaller goes again, between the door and door panel around the window crank mechanism with the smaller end around the crank. It's going to be a tight fit.

Right?

Big end Towards handle pushes the panel out against the handle. Probabley also should be a big "washer" between handle and panel.....
