I haven't heard anything lately about the AACA raffle for the Saturn car. How many tickets have been sold to date?

Thanks in advance.

Judy, I just happen to have some raffle tickets and would LOVE to sell one or more to you or anyone who is reading this. Just think, great odds; better than horse racing at the Kentucky Derby or any state lottery. ONLY 2000 tickets will be sold. An opportunity to win because just by buying one ticket you have supported the AACA National, the AACA Museum and the AACA Library. WOW! Plus you could win the car or take the $20,000.

I purchased a ticket last time and also this time. I was very disappointed when they did not call my name at Hershey as I was ready to drive it home. At least they should have some of the bugs (bad axles) out of it by now, when I drive it home. I hope you will have it all cleaned up for me when I leave.

Thanks everyone for the replies. But what I am trying to find out is - How many tickets have been sold? I am working on an article for the Brass-Nickel newsletter and would like to include the number that have been sold.

Wayne, I have also bought a ticket on the Saturn. And, whoever wins, I would be happy to test drive it for them.

Now I need to update everybody on the Pontiac Solstice that I won in the AACA raffle in 2006..... Although I recently drove the Solstice to the Charlotte meet, and it drove fine for a small rough riding sports car, I have traded it for a 2008 Ford Focus! About 3 weeks ago I had the Solstice at the dealer for the Recall that GM finally issued because of leaking rear end seals in the Solstice, the Saturn Sky, and 2 models of Cadillac, and they replaced the faulty seals. Then, I cleaned it up and traded it for a bright red 2008 Ford Focus. The Focus seats 4 and actually has a trunk for luggage, something the Solstice didn't have.

Anyway, I still bought a ticket on the Saturn Sky that is being raffled this year. I certainly don't expect to win, but I just wanted to support AACA as I did in 2006 and other years.

By the way, I DID BUY MY RAFFLE TICKET from none other than Fran Shore, the same lady who sold me the Solstice ticket in 2006!

Thanks for the offer, Art (test drive).

By the way, my arm is still sore from the Charlotte Meet. Seems the same lady cornered me into buying a raffle ticket.
