I was searching Advance's online catalog for the '89 Reatta. They offer a TRW kit in stock for the front strut rod bushings, Mcquay-Norris on order, and a could Moog's on order. I found this Moog kit, K6484 interesting...

Strut Rod Bushing Kit: Front Suspension; Improved Design; Problem Solver; With Thermoplastic Bushings; 1 Required Per Vehicle

What do you guys think that means? And I and others have found here is that the rod will be severely worn/rusted inside the bushing. Is this supposed to fix it? I wouldn't trust a bushing as a fix at least with the condition mine are in (which broke anyway while wrenching \:\( ).

Phil, as far as I remember, which may not be far, the strut mount has a plastic bearing, and a rubber insert that is part of the mount itself. Where would this bushing go exactly? I remember that there is a rubber bushing in the rear.
