WAS mine, but not anymore! 
I'm posting this for John, the current owner of the car.
Those of you who saw this car in Rochester in 2006 will appreciate the description, because it's dead on...John also did a killer job installing new carpet & upholstery.

I loved watching this 71 get restored, but i noticed on ebay pic the speed-o is at 85, ??? has any one tinkered ? not that it matters that is one of the nicest lesabre ive seen.

That's the speed alert set at 85...the speedometer needle is orange.

thanks for the reply. i never heard of the speed alert option,my first car was a 71 4 door w/350. didnt have many options but one of my favorite cars i've ever owned. i would love to get another, but the wife says something will have to go. i'll miss her.
