I have mustang 114.3 mm on 5 and yes they do fit, but after 3,000 they started to vibrate. I tried eveything I could think of, balance, rotation, triple chcking the bearings, and refacing rotors and changing pads. Nothing fixed it. I went back to stock and no mor vibration. Just a warning.

And I do know others have used the stang wheels with no side effects. Just do not be surprised when they start to vibrate.

I asked at the tire store where I have been buying for the last 20+ years and yes, they can order OEM Reatta wheels, no problem. $110 a wheel but it seems to be a lot less hassel than what you are trying. Maybe cheaper too.

Yo did inspire me to try my cobra R rims again. I bout new lugs and put the rims on. For the most part the shake is gone, but I will give them a few days to see if they start up again. I wish they would work this time. I really want to instal the Camarro brakes I already bought. I really do not think they will fit under the 15" factory rims.

Daniel,
The difference between 115 mm and 114.3 mm for your "Stang" wheels is very minor but at 6 to 8 revolutions per second any misalignment/offset would be noticeable. When you bolt these wheels up I would assume it's vitally important to very evenly snug up the lug nuts before starting to torque them. If you tighten one lug nut before the wheel is centered you're very likely to have a wobble.
Wheels are a machined fit that rely on tapered lug nuts to assist to true and center the wheel. The Stang wheels ar close but.....

This is very concerning, as I was planning on buying some 18" Mustang cobra repros on Ebay soon.

Has anyone else that is running Mustang wheels had this issue?

Like Phil, I run mustang 17s with no problem. In bolting them up, Greg's comments are important to heed, though I think they are applicable to all wheels. They may be a little less critical here because most GM hubs of this era were both lug and hub centric. That is, both the center ring of the hub centers and the tapered lug nuts act to center and hold the wheel. My stang 17s fit the center hub ring as snugly as the stock Reatta. It is hard to see where there is going to be much movement here, though Daniel tends to be pretty detailed when tracking down a problem. If he says he narrowed it to the stang wheels, I am inclined to believe him. BTW, there are tons of 114.3 and 115 wheels out there, but many do not fit our hub ring. As an experiment, I used an old 114.3 wheel with a smaller center hole and ground out enough material to clear the hub ring. This left the wheel lug centric but not hub centric. There was considerable vibration meaning that a machine shop will be necessary to make such wheels usable on our cars.
