Alright, here's the story; it appears the glass is NOT the same. The coupe's glass is (ballpark) 2.5" shorter across the top than the convertible. All other dimensions appear to be the same. Weird. I would guess that would make the 1/4 glass dimensions different too, since they butt together. My trunklid has 24 total louvres (6 groups of 4).

Festid, I think that the door window does not interchange because of the different shape of the windshield header between the convertible and hardtop cars.

The Vigilite Lamp Monitor was available strictly as a dealer-installed accessory on the full-size '71 Buicks. It is extremely rare to see this item on a '71. As you noted, this became a factory-installed option on the '72 Buicks.

Regarding the trunk lid louvers, the very early '71 LeSabre and Centurions had 54 louvers, or six groups of nine louvers.

This LeSabre/Centurion mailer shows an early Centurion coupe with the first-style trunk lid:

I had a 71 for several years and the louvers never leaked.
