One set of "hinge, folding top side roof rear rail, male" part #s 4575901 & 902.

We had two sets cast out of aluminum and used one set in the restoration of the top irons on our Skylark. Body parts book says they fit '53 Special, Roadmaster and Skylark convertibles.

This set needs the holes drilled.

Is there anyone in the Buick Club who needs them?

$200 obo.

I too am restoring a 53 Skylark-haven't done anything more to the top frame than remove the rusty pistons so I could move the top frame up and down.
Is there something about the pieces you had reproduced i should know when i look at my topframe assembly?

Martin;

I suspect that if any of your top bows were broken you'd know it. The pieces we had made are the ones at the rear on each side. They are the pieces that always seem to get broken because someone has forced the top lower than it wants to go or sits on the top once down. Jim Farrell

Jim-thanks for the info. I think I'm OK. Another cause of top frame damage could be trying to force the top up or down when the hydraulic pistons rods are rusty.
I removed the pistons before trying to drop the top and found the frame still reluctant to fold probably due to misadjustment or rusty pivot bolts.
