Looking for the right type of compounds for polishing side trim and wheel well trim. I assume these are stainless and not plated due to the thinness. Any advise on what wheels to order and stuff to buff with from Eastwood would be great.

I recently did my rocker panel trim (stainless). After making sure surface was clean, I began with 600 wet/dry sandpaper with water because surface needed work. Cleaned up fairly well and then went to 1500 wet/dry sandpaper using plenty of water and spent a good amount of time getting it to a basic polished state. Then, I used Dupont white polishing compound with a microfiber towel to polish it better. Ended up using cotton buffing wheel to finish process.
