Been doing more reading on this forum than doing because of work but I'm trying to get the head light switch out of the dash to clean it up (looks nasty from underneath). Problem is getting the pull knob off so I can pull the switch back from the dash. My son and I like playing with the car but 67 years of time has fused a lot of things together and I don't want to force any thing. On the bottom of the knob I see what looks like a pressed pin thru the pull knob and shaft ??

Any one have any ideas ?

thanks ahead of time

Yep, the pins spring loaded. I tried to remove the knob on my 40, but it disintegrated...

OK looks like it's time to jump in and start poking around.
Thanks for the info tip.
