Anyone know if 67 had a reclining option? I have my seats in a shop to recover and they have headrests but not the recliner. I have a 66 seat with recliner and took that in to combine the two and apparently the mechanism is completely different. Since 66 did not have the locking mechanism, the reclining cylinder sits where the rod assembly for the push button goes in 67. They don't see how they can combine them and when I saw the seat stripped to the frame I don't either. Any 67s seen with this option?

They did have a passenger recliner as an option in '67. It was available on Toro Deluxe, 98 convertible, Delta Custom and Cutlass Supreme coupe and convertible models. I'd have to look at my parts book to see the difference in the mechanisms. I don't have it at home with me.
